Manovill Seminar (JFCS Holocaust Center of San Francisco)
A high school seminar run by the JFCS Holocaust Center in San Francisco that examines the Holocaust and the Cambodian genocide, exploring patterns of genocide, Jewish identity, and antisemitism through survivor testimony, archival research, and guided discussion. Students complete a culminating project applying seminar themes and can continue into the Center's Conversation Circle, meeting Holocaust survivors directly through the William J. Lowenberg Speakers Bureau.
