NIH / NINDS High School Summer Internship Program (HS-SIP)

A highly competitive 8-10 week paid internship placing students in NIH labs, with NINDS focusing on the nervous system, neurodegeneration, stroke, and brain cancer, culminating in a Summer Poster Day.

The SIP 2027 application will open in mid-November 2026.

The application will close in mid-February, 2027.

You must use the NIH Application Center to apply for this program.
