University at Albany RNA Institute High School Bioinformatics Summer Camp
A competitive virtual camp training students to analyze RNA-sequencing data through live lectures and mentorship, with an independent bioinformatics project based in neurodegenerative-disease research.
The RNA Institute High School Bioinformatics Summer Camp is a competitive summer training program held virtually for high school students.
We will be offering a rolling admissions basis until March 31, 2026.
Time commitment of 15-20 hours per week for four weeks
How to Apply
- Submit application by March 31, 2026
- Applications reviewed starting December 2025
- Accepted students receive welcome email by mid May with pre-course work
- Complete pre-course programming work before July 6, 2026
- Participate in virtual camp July 6 - August 1, 2026
