UrbanPlan Americas Student Competition
Developed with UC Berkeley's Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics, UrbanPlan is a project-based real estate development simulation in which teams of high school students act as a fictional developer, balancing budgets, zoning, and community needs to pitch a project for city council approval. Top student teams compete nationally in the UrbanPlan Americas High School Competition.

Daydream Silicon Valley
A free, teen-organized weekend game jam in San Jose where participants ages 12-18 design and deploy an original game to itch.io within 48 hours, with no experience required and beginner workshops offered on-site. Part of Hack Club's Daydream network of simultaneous teen game jams held in 100 cities, the event provides meals, merchandise, prizes, and travel reimbursement for those coming from farther away.
Get Lit - Words Ignite Classic Slam
One of the largest youth spoken-word poetry competitions in the country, in which middle and high school teams (using the Get Lit curriculum) each memorize and perform a classic poem paired with an original spoken-word response. Teams advance through qualifying rounds to a live finals judged by professional poets and performers.
Manovill Seminar (JFCS Holocaust Center of San Francisco)
A high school seminar run by the JFCS Holocaust Center in San Francisco that examines the Holocaust and the Cambodian genocide, exploring patterns of genocide, Jewish identity, and antisemitism through survivor testimony, archival research, and guided discussion. Students complete a culminating project applying seminar themes and can continue into the Center's Conversation Circle, meeting Holocaust survivors directly through the William J. Lowenberg Speakers Bureau.
